Use of This Website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. All content on this site, including text, images, logos and product descriptions, is owned by or licensed to Gold Prospecting Gear and may not be copied, reproduced or used without our permission.
Terms and Conditions of Sale
Payment for online orders is required in full at the time of purchase via our secure checkout. Gold Prospecting Gear retains ownership of goods until payment has been received in full.
Goods purchased are also subject to any applicable manufacturer’s warranty, in addition to the Gold Prospecting Gear warranty set out below.
Order Cancellations and Restocking Fees
Orders may be cancelled free of charge if a cancellation request is received before the order has been dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and is instead subject to our standard Return Policy.
Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in original packaging, and in re saleable condition. A restocking fee of 20% of the item’s purchase price applies to all change-of-mind returns, to cover handling, testing and re-listing costs. This fee does not apply to items returned due to fault, damage, or incorrect description, which remain covered under your Australian Consumer Law rights.
Nothing in this Cancellations and Restocking Fees section limits or overrides any right you have to dispute a transaction with your bank or card provider, or any right or remedy available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
Order Acceptance and Delivery
Receipt of payment does not constitute acceptance of an order. Gold Prospecting Gear reserves the right to decline, cancel or refund an order at any time before dispatch, including where stock is unavailable from our suppliers, in which case a full refund will be provided.
Delivery timeframes provided on this website or in order communications are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Gold Prospecting Gear is not liable for delays caused by suppliers, freight carriers, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and except for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the Australian Consumer Law, the total liability of Gold Prospecting Gear arising out of or in connection with any goods supplied is limited to the amount paid by the customer for those goods.
Pricing and GST
All prices displayed on this website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax) where applicable, and may change without notice. While we make every effort to ensure product information and pricing are accurate, we reserve the right to correct any errors and to cancel or amend an order affected by a pricing or listing error, in which case we will contact you before proceeding.
Warranty
All products sold by Gold Prospecting Gear carry a standard 12-month (1 year) warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects under normal use. This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, any consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident, unauthorized repair or modification, or normal wear and tear from field use. The Gold Prospecting Gear name, logo and website content are the property of Gold Prospecting Gear and may not be used without prior written consent.
Governing Law

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the website or purchase of goods after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
